Rev. Dr. Peggy E. Wall
A Woman of Vision, Leadership, and Accomplishment
The Rev. Dr. Peggy E. Wall is making history in the African Methodist Episcopal church as the first woman to be appointed pastor in the history of St. John AME Church, one of the leading churches in the Baltimore area.
In addition to her pastoral appointment, Dr. Wall was also appoint Dean of the Board of Examiners, the body that governs the five year ordination training for ministers. This makes Dr. Wall the first woman to serve in this position in the 188 year history of the Baltimore Annual Conference.
Dr. Wall is a visionary leader and a gifted administrator whose track record reflects her unwavering commitment to upward mobility via education, economic, and spiritual growth. Dr. Wall is prepared to lead the St. John AME Church congregation, a congregation steeped in rich history and dedicated to service, toward an increased and outstanding presence in the Baltimore community.
